Last night we arrived in Grasse, France. The Uddens welcomed us into their magnificent French Riviera home as part of their own family. We enjoyed wine, fruit, and cheeses as we sat on the terrace soaking up the warm summer night.
Our first full day in France is coming to an end, but by no means was it short on an assortment of activities and entertainment. From lounging by the pool to our stroll into town for a dinner in the square, all were magnificent.

I think Jon and Jake's highlight of the day was driving Goran's custom Bentley. They were like little boys when they returned so excited that they had the chance to drive this 600 horse power (whatever that means :-) car through the narrow and winding streets of Grasse. They are still talking about it and probably will be for the remainder of the trip.
An evening with this crew is never without excitement. As we were walking home from dinner there was yet another incident with the Jakester. The poor guy pretty much ripped off half of his big toe nail (and skin too) on some metal piece from the gate coming into the house. It was pretty disguisting and extremely painful as I could tell by the sweat dripping off his face. Dr. Jon fixed him up good though. We'll see how much walking he is up for the next few days...
Looks like you all are having a great time! Except for poopy pants Jake in this pic! K Griffsta
